PADI, SDI/TDI -

Dive Manchester has been offering PADI scuba diving courses for recreational diving, PADI and TDI for technical diving courses. Now John is certified as SDI scuba diving instructor as well. In other words, we have more courses to offer to students. What is the difference? This is a very common question and discussed by many people everywhere. Bubble Maker, PADI -

Bubble Maker Saturday for October is now planned. It will be 14th of October, starting at 5:30pm in the shop. We will give briefing and do fitting of the equipment and wetsuits in the shop before going to the local private pool.  Bubble Maker is designed for 8-10 year old kids to experience Scuba Diving Equipment in the safe environment. It will be a great experience for young kids to breathe in the water. We will do some basic skills together and some games!! :D  The course will finish in Prestwich about 8pm. The course fee is £30 per kid....

Scuba Diving may sounds like sports for adults because of the heavy equipment and all. Well, that is not true!! PADI Bubble Maker and PADI Seal Team are designed for 8-10 year old kids, using Scuba Diving Equipment with smaller cylinders. The experience to breathe in water is something priceless to all kids. We had our first DM Club Night at the nearest pub in Prestwich. It was nice to meet together to have a chat about Diving and other things. Well, we didn't know but it was the quiz night at the pub!! Yes, we did join! The only thing was the quiz started rather late and some of us by then had quite a few pints...however, we did our best!! 6th of all!! Hooray!! No.1 place from the bottom. :D :D  Diving is FUN!!!

Wednesday Pool night has bee quite busy. This week, we had students staring OW course with watermanship skills. Drysuits orientation, kids DSD, and check divers. Divers from all kinds of levels. It is always great to see everybody having FUN!! Yes!! Diving is FUN!!!
